Join us for the 2025 Holiday Tour of Homes in Elkin, NC, showcasing the beautiful historic homes of West Main Street adorned in festive decorations. Presented by Diana M. Cheek of eXp Realty and Friends of Historic Elkin. 

From holiday decor to thoughtful details, each stop on the Holiday Tour of Homes tells its own story and is brought to life by hosts highlighting the history, features, and traditions that make each home so special. 

The Holiday Tour of Homes is a walking tour and golf cart accessible. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The event will take place rain, shine, or snow. Please dress accordingly. 

By joining us for this tour, you’ll also be supporting the local arts initiatives. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated back to the community and benefit the Scholarship Fund at the Foothills Arts Council. Learn more at Foothillsarts.org. 

Tickets are $30 per person or $50 for two and available locally through the day of the event at The Tribune Building, located on East Main Street in historic downtown Elkin, and online here.  Tickets will be available the day of the event at the Elkin & Alleghany Railroad Ticket Office, now known as the E & A Cottage, located at 231 W. Main Street, Elkin, NC. All ticket sales are final. No refunds.

Tour brochures and guide maps will be available at the E & A Cottage the day of the tour. 

Free parking is available on the street and in designated parking lots downtown Elkin, including lots at the Visitors Center and Reeves School of Music. Golf carts are also welcome.
